The latest and the final build of the developer preview of Android O 8.0 Octopus is released by Google. This build fixes all the issues of Android O. And soon the stable will be released via OTA.

The developer preview of Android O is available only for Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL, Pixel C. If you wish to flash the developer preview of Android O manually then click here.

Why the name “Octopus” for Android O 8.0?
The first letter in name Octopus is O. And also Octopus has 8 tentacles and it matches perfectly with Android O 8.
If you have the latest developer preview, then go to Settings< About phone< Tap on Android O for few times and long press on it< An octopus appear on the screen indicating the next version of Android O could be named as Octopus. 
It could also be a prank from Google. Because every android version has the name of a desert. And this time, name of an animal does not suit to Android O.
